3) Service Updates- 20 min
Casper -Seeing issue D-010093 where Cloud or JDS Distribution Point fails to edit packages while using WebApp
CrashPlan – Client 4.5.2 and server 5.1.2 update completed Feb 25, 2016. Client 5.1.2 now default at go.ncsu.edu/crashplan for download. Issue with brand new Sub-orgs where “deferred” login is not working and blocks automatic addition of new users.
NetBoot – 10.11.3 (nuke.nbi & sh) has been updated on the netboot server and added makekiosk.nbi/sh for use with new/clean OS X machines. Also complete rebuild of netboot disk structure is complete.
AutoPKGR – no new packages, however clean up requests will be coming out for March 28, 2016.
4) Kaspersky Updates- 10 min
Several changes have been made to the Kaspersky server rules for OS X which should make installs work now. Some work has been done on a unified installer but there is an issue with applying the license. We believe that the new rules should fix the install issues. Still trying to get info from Kaspersky about using the internal update server to avoid web security lockout. Having trouble since we do not pay for Platinum Support. Are people seeing any difference since March 1, 2016? Discussion
