On Saturday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 1, OIT will perform extensive system maintenance, such as data center improvements that require the shutdown and movement of equipment, hardware replacement and infrastructure configuration. This extended maintenance window will run from 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday and may impact major IT systems, including but not limited to the Human Resources System, the Financial System and the Student Information System.

More information will be forthcoming in future editions of OIT News. Please be patient as we strive to ensure that campus IT systems remain stable, secure and compliant with various industry and regulatory requirements, such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Future extended maintenance windows that can possibly impact IT services are scheduled on:

• Saturday, Nov. 4 through Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017
• Saturday, Feb. 3 through Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018
• Saturday, April 14 through Sunday, April 15, 2018
