  1. Summer Meeting Schedule – 5 min
No July or Aug meetings due to Everette being on leave.  Use Slack group or email as needed.
    Discussion
  2. Jamf Issue Summary- 15 min
Jamf Pro 10.5.0 gold master is out.  Have a look at the known issues in http://docs.jamf.com/10.5.0/jamf-pro/release-notes/Known_Issues.html.  There are many in this release that affect us.  We have asked Jamf Support if there is any advantage in moving from the RC to the gold master or just update when 10.5.1 comes out and are waiting for response.  We are essentially stable now and servers are not dying under previous bug of millions of unserviceable MDM commands.  Uploads of packages that take more than ~ 120 seconds will continue to fail intermittently until both issues [PI-004101] Jamf Admin fails to upload and replicate large packages to the JCDS or AWS distribution points and [PI-004504] Packages may intermittently fail to upload to JCDS via Jamf Admin are fixed.  Discussion
  3. CAS Meeting Update – 10 min
The June 2018 CAS meeting was short with many folks missing due to leave.  All items discussed were tabled until next meeting.  Everette did introduce discussion on 3 items: 1) Unified Software updating and patching schedules for win, mac, lin, 2) Adopting native technologies vs using 3rd party add on software, and 3) implementation of required support  services for the Endpoint Protection Standard (ie official key escrow, compliance reports, etc).  See: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rX-aAyozULUT4H4gz-ngD-L2INBmnx-iQq9_SQ8nlAM/
    Discussion
  4. WWDC 2018 Recap – 30 min
Everette will recap the implications of the WWDC announcements for our environments.  One big note is the drop of 32bit applications essentially next year (~Fall 2019)…  Expect huge vendor lag in this area. Also be aware that tightening of security will mean that scripts and User Template inserts will need to be re-written and re-designed.  The fact that MS Office 365 and Adobe Light Room CC are coming to the App Store means we can manage using VPP but will need to see what this means for license.  Other implications.
    Discussion
