OIT 2017-18 Annual Report: We Think and Do IT

Technology is used everywhere on NC State’s campus and the Office of Information Technology (OIT) has provided, since its inception in 2007, the infrastructure and support from which many innovative research, learning and business processes have evolved.

Ten years ago, NC State created OIT, bringing together two central IT organizations — Resource Management and Information Systems (RMIS) and the Information Technology Division (ITD). To commemorate its 10th anniversary, OIT has published a special 2017-18 Annual Report: We Think and Do IT.

The annual report highlights many of OIT’s accomplishments from its inception to the present in a graphical timeline. The report features four major projects completed during the 2017-18 fiscal year and aligns numerous OIT services with the goals and strategies of Pathway to the Future: NC State’s 2011-2020 Strategic Plan. The annual report also recognizes the accomplishments of OIT staff and provides a collection of statistics on many OIT services.

Read We Think and Do IT to learn more about the innovative solutions, systems and services that OIT provides to help NC State achieve success and build its future.
