Team Drives is getting a new name!

Beginning Tuesday, May 21, Google will rename Team Drives to Shared Drives to better reflect the broader use of this shared space across organizations. Its functionality will not be impacted.

Expect to see “Shared Drives” on the following platforms on these dates:

• iOS: May 21
• Android: May 28
• Drive File Stream: May 31
  Users will need to update their shortcuts and scripts to reflect “Shared Drives” instead of “Team Drives” in the file paths.
• Web: June 3
