If you prepare course materials on campus, it is of vital importance that your physical and digital materials are accessible to all students.
There are many cases, including the National Federation of the Blind of California vs. the Los Angeles Community College District, that requires schools to provide accessible materials prior to or at the same time when other students receive materials.
To accomplish this:
- You should choose or make accessible materials.
- If you are unable to procure accessible physical or digital materials, you will need to create an Equally Effective Alternative Action Plan.
