NOTE: We have seen Spirion crash with a segmentation fault on macOS 10.15.0/1. Spirion support responded with:
“We apologize for the inconvenience. We have identified the issue and it should be addressed in a future release of the Mac client.
Catalina is not supported by the Spirion client at this time. We do not have a confirmed release version this will be addressed in, however we are hoping for Q1 2020”

Little movement here. Some talk about iOS/iPadOS but nothing announced. There are just short of 2500 NCSU iOS devices already managed in Jamf Pro.
Other – Alertus is a 32 bit app we are working to find out when/if the vendor will release a 64 bit version
SAP Releases Privileges app – 5 min
Managing admin access has been challenging for many folks. The developers at SAP have released their custom Privileges.app which can change the current user from standard to admin on demand without passwords. There is a command line tool that can be used to remove admin at every login. The app is configurable using a macOS configuration profile.
