MyPack Portal to get new look on Oct. 9

On Monday, Oct. 9, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and campus partners will introduce a new responsive MyPack Portal interface that will allow users to put their personal paw print on how they access university resources.

In March, OIT added new tile-based navigation for Employee Self Service and the Financial System. This navigation offers users a more modern look and a mobile, user friendly interface. OIT will extend this improved navigation to the Human Resources (HR) System and the Student Information System (SIS) on Oct. 9.

To complete this transformation, the:

  • Student Information System will be unavailable from noon on Friday, Oct. 6 until 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9.
  • HR System will be unavailable from 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct 6 until 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct 9.
  • MyPack Portal and other related services will be unavailable from 6 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8 until 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9.

When the MyPack Portal comes online on Oct. 9, campus employees will default to the Employee Self Service homepage that will provide them with university services that they currently access and that can be customized to their specific workflow.

Portal users will be able to easily create new homepages and customize existing ones that will provide direct access to the human resources, financial and student activities that they perform most frequently.

All of the primary activities that portal users now access will still be available in the updated interface and on mobile devices. The new navigation will allow employees to view their pay checks, manage their personal information, report and track their time, and review benefits, as well as other functions in a more user friendly and responsive manner.

Student Information System

Employees who have a student affiliation or access to the Student Information System will see a major system transformation with the implementation of the new tile-based navigation. Campus will be notified of these changes via email soon.
