Nominations for the Gertrude Cox Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and Learning with Technology are now being accepted through Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018. Nominations should include projects completed during the academic year 2016–2017.

Named in honor of Cox, who established the university’s distinguished Department of Statistics, the award recognizes the creative pedagogy of NC State’s faculty and technical staff and their work in integrating new technologies into effective teaching strategies.

Submission and eligibility guidelines can be found at the Gertrude Cox Award website. The awards are presented each spring at the Teaching and Learning Symposium that is hosted by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and the Office of Faculty Development.
