Nominations for the Gertrude Cox Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and Learning with Technology are now being accepted through Friday, Jan. 25, 2019. Nominations should include projects completed during the 2017–2018 academic year or earlier.
Named in honor of Cox, who established the university’s distinguished Department of Statistics, the award recognizes the creative pedagogy of NC State’s faculty and their work in integrating new technologies into effective teaching strategies.
Submission and eligibility guidelines can be found at the Gertrude Cox Award website. In the spring, award recipients will be recognized at the Teaching Awards Luncheon and will present their work at the Teaching and Learning Symposium. Both events are hosted by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and the Office of Faculty Development.
