Students can receive computer support in these areas:

  • Operating system
    Including virus and spyware removal
  • Software
    Most software packages are easy to install, but if you encounter difficulty, Walk-in Center staff are happy to help.
  • Network connectivity
    ResNet and the campus wireless network
  • Warranty and hardware repair
    For computers and warranties purchased through the NC State Bookstore
  • Unity account
    Including password reset, disabled account

When you come

  • Bring your Wolfpack One Card (campus ID card)
    so we can provide you with the best possible customer service. 
     
  • Plan to allow at least 20 minutes 
    for us to properly diagnose your computer's problems.

Fall and Spring

    • Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
      After 5 p.m., please ring doorbell.
    • Saturday: Noon to 5 p.m.
    • Sunday: Closed

Summer

    • Monday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
      After 5 p.m., please ring doorbell. 
    • Tuesday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Saturday-Sunday: Closed

Classes not in session 

    • Walk-In Center closes at 5 p.m.

Please note: the gate on Dan Allen Drive at the railroad overpass is CLOSED to student vehicles between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
